Calibration Engineer/Technician

JOB OVERVIEW

Joining our team as a Calibration Engineer / Technician, you will be responsible for all aspects of specialist calibration, measuring instrumentation to national standards to ensure a first-class service to our customer. You will also undertake calibration measurements to the correct procedures, instructions and specifications whilst maintaining relevant records of work, data and results in a traceable and auditable manner utilizing the relevant business management system.

KEY OBJECTIVES

  • Calibration of instrumentation ISO/IEC 17025 standards/International standards;
  • Maintain the Calibration Database and filing system;
  • Maintenance of Calibration Certification and files;
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and timely turn-around on all equipment and service;
  • Perform other laboratory support functions as required in an efficient and organized manner;
  • Participate in external/internal audits as required by the Trescal Quality Manager within the Trescal facility;
  • Ensure that mandatory and legislative QHSE aspects of work are implemented at all times;
  • Endeavour to complete all work within the budgeted timescale and target dates and ensure proper control and accounting of work in progress is maintained and reported.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

  • Relevant experience of calibration practices and theories is essential at Technician level;
  • PC literacy and knowledge in Windows-based and laboratory automation software is required;
  • Relevant qualifications in engineering discipline and previous experience of working in the calibration industry is desirable;
  • Experience of working within Customer focused environment is preferable;
  • Ability to work autonomously, organized and analytical.

Customer Service Representative

JOB OVERVIEW

Customer facing, you will be responsible for providing excellent Customer Service at all times. You will maintain and develop strong Customer relationships and have full responsibility for assigned accounts. You will support Logistics and Production Teams in timely, cost effective receipt, accounting, and processing of equipment and Certificates. You will work closely with the Sales Team and the Operations.

KEY OBJECTIVES

  • Take telephone calls concerning Customer service-related queries;
  • Process incoming and outgoing subcontract items;
  • Work to continuously improve systems and processes, to enable the progressing of work to be effective;
  • Develop and maintain a good working relationship with internal and external Customers to provide factual and relevant information, ensuring the smooth running of an account;
  • Deal efficiently with and monitor Customer enquiries;
  • Ensure that Customer and Supplier enquiries are satisfactorily resolved.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills;
  • Previous proven Customer Service experience;
  • Strong IT skills and knowledge of Office Suite;
  • Self-motivated and team orientated;
  • Ability to identify and meet Customer’s needs and requirements;
  • Ability to organise time effectively and conduct multiple tasks.

Logistics Stores Coordinator

JOB OVERVIEW

The Logistics Stores coordinator is in charge of all goods delivered to the company.

KEY OBJECTIVES

  • To receive in all goods delivered to the company;
  • Carry out inspection of goods received – checking for damage to, quantity of and quality of items received;
  • Entering of all goods received on to the computer system and correlating the items received to the purchase order to ensure our order requirements are fulfilled;
  • Carry out inspection of goods received – checking for damage to, quantity of and quality of items received;
  • To be responsible for the goods in / out / stores areas to comply with Health and Safety, and to generally to maintain it in a tidy and orderly way;
  • To accurately pick stock items in accordance with the outgoing paperwork ensuring conformance to the customer’s requirements;
  • To adequately package all orders for safe delivery to the customer;
  • To liaise with the various carriers used for delivery to customers;
  • Provide a professional service when interacting with customer’s both internal and external;
  • When driving, to be responsible for the maintenance and security of the vehicle provided, including refuelling, cleanliness and the recording and reporting of maintenance needs;
  • To keep a full and comprehensive log of all van activities and fuel consumption.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

  • Excellent practical driving skills and full clean driving licence;
  • The ability to work quickly and to tight deadlines;
  • Lifting and carrying skills ;
